The average noise output is not that high, but the competition is notably lower.

[115V] The passive operation lasts long enough, but the PSU’s fan starts with over 25 dBA noise output. The transition from fan-stop to fan-start should be smoother. The 30 dBA mark is passed with a 565W load, approximately at 12V, and with more than 720W on the same rail, the noise goes over 40 dBA. Between 650W and 720W at 12V, noise is within 35-40 dBA.
