The average noise output is high, especially for a 650W highly efficient unit.

[115V] The passive operation doesn’t last long, and the fan starts and stops several times, so it will be annoying since it starts with noise within the 20-25 dBA region. With more than 360W, the PSU’s fan enters the 25-30 dBA range, while the 30 dBA mark is passed with a 360W load. With over 440W, noise exceeds 35 dBA, and with more than 490W, noise goes over 40 dBA. In general, the fan speed profile should be more relaxed, and nfortunately, there is no option to turn off the fan-stop feature.
