The over current protection (OCP) triggering point is set correctly at 12V, not allowing the PSU to drop below 11.4V. However, this is not the case for the minor rails where OCP allows for low voltages. I didn’t push the unit more in these tests because it would fail and it could damage my equipment. The pleasant surprise is over-temperature protection (OTP), something missing from most budget units. Lastly, surge and inrush current protections are not included.
