Exterior
You can easily distinguish the PS5 Pro from the different box.
The exterior design doesn’t differ notably from the PS5 Slim’s. The basic difference is the multiple black stripes, while the older model only has one. The panel’s curve is higher on the top side. We find the power switch and two USB Type-C ports on the front side. For those of you wanting a disc drive, you can install one once Sony makes them available for purchase, and you will use a different face plate. Currently, the PS5 Pro is only digital, so if you have any games in disc drives, you won’t be able to play them with it.
Another annoying issue is that the vertical stand is not included in the bundle, so you must purchase it at an additional cost. So not only the new PS5 Pro is notably more expensive than the PS5 Slim, but it also lacks this basic accessory.
The controller remains the same.
