Frequency Plots (High Speed)
10% Fan Speed
We have a significant spike at 50 Hz, most likely derived from the power grid’s frequency. The other notable frequency spikes are at 200 Hz, 400 Hz, and 2 KHz.
25% Fan Speed
The 400 Hz frequency is the highest one.
50% Fan Speed
Increased noise at 250 Hz, 500 Hz, and 1 KHz.
75% Fan Speed
The highest frequency is at 630 Hz.
100% Fan Speed
High noise at 400 Hz and 1.25 KHz. From 125 Hz and at lower frequencies, the noise is low.

Please compare the Super Flower Megacool 140 to the Iceberg Thermal Icegale Xtra 140 and the Noctua iPPC 140.
Noctua was supposed to send this fan, but they didn’t eventually. I guess they are pissed with the G2 review.
When a test of the Noctua IPPC 140mm 3000RPM for have a fan to compare it ? 🙂
Sent an email to Noctua and weirdly enough I didn’t get a reply. Will talk again to my contact there.
