Epilogue
The Arctic S12038-4K performs well even at low speeds. The only downside is its increased width of 38mm, which minimizes its compatibility. After all, this fan is not for desktop systems but workstations and servers, hence its high speed and insane static pressure. However, with the proper mods, you can use it in a desktop system, but it will surely be overkill.
Let’s now look at 25 dBA noise normalized performance. I chose 25 dBA because it is low enough not to annoy most users and high enough to allow for speeds that offer decent airflow and static pressure performance.
The airflow is not high at low speeds and 25 dBA noise output, but the static pressure is insane, exceeding 2.5 mmAq.

Hi @crmaris can you please tell me what size screws I would need to mount this fan on an AIO radiator?
It is 38mm thick so 45mm long I would say.
Besides the thickness, is there any reason the home enthusiast should not consider these the best watercooling radiator fans for low noise? Less optimal noise frequencies than its competitors?
The thickness is the major issue for most cases, with limited internal space.
That mechanical clicking in the low speed recording sounds like it could get *pretty* irritating.
