Epilogue
The Alpenföhn JetStream 120mm failed to impress me, as it doesn’t offer competitive performance in either static pressure or airflow, despite the brand’s claim that it is suitable for both cooling solutions and cases. Even in noise output, I measured way higher than the advertised, but the fact is that the brand doesn’t mention how its noise measurements were conducted.
Let’s now look at 25 dBA noise-normalized performance. I chose 25 dBA because it is low enough not to annoy most users and high enough to allow for speeds that offer decent airflow and static pressure performance.
At 25 dBA, the fan’s airflow is low, and its static pressure is among the lowest. At 15 euros, this fan is currently sold; you can find way better choices, including the Arctic P12 Pro, which achieves top static performance and decent airflow. If you want top airflow without spending much, look at the Thermalright TL-C12B V2 and the Montech GF120, which also offers ARGB lighting.
