The 2024 update of the Invader X, brings the chassis up to date with support for the new motherboard trend, which moves the connectors towards the back. All of the best attributes are carried over, such as the (subjectively) good looks, five included fans and a sturdy build.
Many brands, including XPG, have started providing chassis that support the new backward connectors. The new Invader X BTF tries to fit even more in its limited space behind the motherboard, but how successful is it really? Are there any compromises? Some of the highlights of their offering are based on last year’s model. The chassis supports up to ten 120mm fans, and a vertical GPU mount is included, albeit without the PCIe extension. It will also fit GPUs up to 400mm without a side-mounted radiator or a 270mm GPU with a side-mounted radiator. Coolers up to 175mm in height and PSUs up to 240mm in length will also fit comfortably.
