I have both Crucial mx500 and bx500 and there is a noticable performance difference, the mx500 is much faster, I personally wouldn’t buy the bx500 unless it’s at least 30% cheaper. Got a WD Blue 1TB last year for 50$, using It as an external back up in a USB 3 case, got a 500gb Lexar 2.5 SSD for my play\test bench for 17$ this prime day, storage is dirt cheap now, got a 980 pro 1tb for 50$
yep, as I state bx is a cheap cousin of mx without the same performance, not even close. u can have it for not intense tasks, tho. yes, storage is cheap, nowadays. was about time if u ask me.
