As you may know, YouTube doesn’t allow downloading videos from its platform unless you are a YT Premium member. The only caveat is that YT Premium is not free, and some of us might not be able to afford it. It offers an ad-free experience and allows video downloading for a monthly fee. In this Quick Tips article, I will explain how to download videos from YouTube easily. Let’s proceed to the main course.
How To
- Open your favorite browser.
- Visit YouTube’s official page.
- Select the video you want to download.
- In the video URL’s section, type pp after www.youtube and before .com. It should be “www.youtubepp.com” (a well-regarded adblock extension like UBlock Origin is the best practice).
- In the new page that appears, select whether you want the “Video” or “Audio” from the video, and select the green “Download” button.
- Select the green “Download .MP4” button on the new pop-up page.
- A new page named “videoplayback” will appear.
- Right-click on the video of the new page and select “Save file as“.
- Select where you wish to save the video.
- Depending on your Internet connection, it might take a while. Just be patient.
