MSI MAG CoreLiquid E360 AIO Review – It could be better

The MSI Mag CoreLiquid E360 AIO isn’t affordable at $140, still it belongs to MSI’s mainstream MAG line, with the MPG and MEG products belonging to higher and more expensive categories. How it performs? Read the review to find out, sorry but no spoilers! 

The MSI Mag CoreLiquid E360 AIO is not affordable, with a $140 price tag, yet it addresses value-oriented users compared to the rest of the 360mm AIOs from the same brand. It uses an aluminum radiator and a copper block with substantial dimensions to cool better CPUs with large heatspreaders. The new block is 20% larger than the previous MAG line AIOs. Typically, the pump is embedded into the CPU block and lit by ARGB lighting, which isn’t that strong.

Please don’t ask me why, but MSI threw in the bundle two PWM splitters, one of which lowers the fan speed. From the moment you can easily control fan speed through PWM pulses, I cannot understand why brands insist on providing extra cables, which increase cost without reason. Moreover, I was stupid enough not to check which PWM splitter I used, so I had to run all the tests again once I realized I had used the low-speed PWM splitter. The problem is that I had already removed the cooler from the test system, so I had to do everything again from scratch. Who said that a reviewer’s life is easy?
