Efficiency Normal, Light & Super-Light Loads

Efficiency is low at normal loads compared to other similar spec SFX units. At light loads with 115V, input efficiency remains low, but it improves at 230V. Lastly, with a super-light load (2%), the unit scores low efficiency; still, it meets the 60% requirement of the ATX v3.1 spec.

  1. The transformer’s visual impact is remarkable, but it is the optical effect compared to the size of the power supply. Seeing 1200w from such a small 850w power supply always makes a certain sense.
