Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C – 115V
The fan’s passive operation is short, which is expected given the tiny platform and its high power output. The PSU’s fan starts with a noise output of 20-25 dBA. There could be more intermediate steps, less noisy ones. At up to 700W at 12V, noise is below 25 dBA, while the 30 dBA mark is passed at around 730W at 12V. Noise exceeds 35 dBA at 800W, and at around 870W at 12V, it is in the 40-45 dBA range.

With 230V input, the fan speed profile looks similar to the 115V one.
