All Sharkoon SFX units are made by Sirfa/High Power, and this is easy to find by noticing the distinctive design of the primary heat sink. Given the restricted PCB space, the primary heat sink is quite large. The 12V FETs are installed on the solder side of the PCB, close to the main transformer, to minimize energy losses during power transfer. The platform’s design is clean enough, and Sirfa used several vertical boards to save space.

A half-bridge topology and an LLC resonant converter are used on the primary side. On the secondary side, six Toshiba FETs regulate the 12V rail. A pair of VRMs generate the minor rails and receive power from the 12V rail. The build quality is generally high, with FETs provided by known manufacturers, with the only exception of the main ones and capacitors by Japanese brands. The soldering quality is also good. My only objection to this unit’s build quality is the fan, provided by Globe Fan, a manufacturer a little above Yate Loon, among the lowest quality fan manufacturers. Sirfa should use a Hong Hua fan instead or another one with similar quality. According to the official specs, the fan uses at least a fluid dynamic bearing, but the manufacturing quality matters most besides the bearing type.
