Average Noise

The PSU’s average noise output is relatively high, given its capacity and efficiency. It also makes an impression that the average noise output at 230V is notably higher than at 115V.

Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C – 115V

There is no fan-stop feature, but the fan starts at a relatively low noise level, ranging from 15 to 20 dBA. At around 375W, the 30 dBA mark is passed, and with more than 395W, the fan’s noise exceeds 35 dBA.

Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C – 230V

The 230V fan speed profile is notably different than the 115V one. The 15-20 dBA range lasts shorter, and the same goes for the 25-30 dBA range. Moreover, the 35 dBA mark is reached at 380W instead of 395W at 115V.
