PCCooler YT1200 ATX v3.1 PSU Review

Box & Bundle

I received early samples, so photos of the box are not available at this time. This means I can use any photo I want here, such as a photo of my plane, the Cessna C182. Old but reliable and really nice to fly!

Product Photos

The exterior design stands out from the crowd due to the triangle perforations of the fan’s grille. On the front side, for the PSU’s exhaust, the same triangle-style perforations are used. On the same side, besides the AC receptacle and the power switch, you will also find a smaller switch for toggling the fan’s passive operation on or off.

The modular panel has eleven sockets, including a native 12V-2×6 header.

Modular Cables
Description Cable Count Connector Count (Total) Gauge In Cable Capacitors
ATX connector 20+4 pin (610mm) 1 1 16AWG No
4+4 pin EPS12V (650mm) 2 2 16AWG No
6+2 pin PCIe (600mm) 3 3 16AWG No
12+4 pin PCIe (650mm) (600W) 1 1 16-24AWG No
SATA (445mm+150mm+150mm) / 4-pin Molex (+150mm) 3 9 / 3 18AWG No
AC Power Cord (1380mm) – C13 coupler 1 1 18AWG

The cables are long enough, and the high-power cables use thicker, 16AWG, for lower voltage drops at high loads. The number of peripheral connectors is sufficient, and the distance between them is identical, at 150mm.
