Average Noise
The PSU’s average noise output is low, among the lowest in the 1000W category. Considering that this platform is not among the most efficient, actually pretty far from it, this doesn’t make me feel comfortable.
Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C – 115V
The semi-passive mode lasts up to about 360W at 12V, with a light to 90W combined load on the minor rails. At up to 580W at 12V, the PSU’s noise is below 15 dBA, and the 30 dBA mark is passed at 800W, with the fan’s noise entering the 35-40 dBA region with higher than 890W loads at 12V.
Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C – 230V
The 230V fan noise profile is a little looser, mostly at high loads. The 35-40 dBA region is notably smaller, affecting the average noise output.

Hi, Aris! I scrolled down Enermax’s website, and came up with Enermax Revolution III. It is said to be ATX 3.1, and i’m pretty sure it’s a replacement for Revolution DF judging from its price
Would you be consider to review this unit? Thanks
if Enermax sends it over, I could take a look 🙂
