The fan’s passive mode is affected by the load on the minor rails when the load at 12V exceeds 125W. In general, the fan’s noise remains low below 500W, with the 25 dBA level reached at 550W at 12V. With more than 690W, the fan’s noise is within the 30-35 dBA range. Given the platform’s compact PCB and the lack of large heatsinks, the fan speed profile is tuned to balance quiet operation without jeopardizing long-term reliability.

At 230V, the fan speed profile is similar to that at 115V.
