The PSU’s average noise output is among the lowest in the 850W category.
Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C – 115V
The fan’s passive mode operates at up to 480W at 12V when the combined load on the minor rails remains below 110W. Even when the fan starts to spin, it does so at low speeds, hence noise output remains below 6 dBA at up to 640W at 12V. After this load level, there are several fan speed modes, ranging from 10 dBA to 25-30 dBA, which is only for a short period at close to full load.
Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C – 230V
At 230V, the fan speed profile is similar to that at 115V.
