Box & Bundle
The box has an appealing design with the PSU’s modular panel shown on its face. Inside the box, the protection is adequate since packing foam surrounds the product.
Product Photos
The exterior design stands out from the crowd thanks to the shifted modular panel, perforations at the fan grille, and the unit’s exhaust side. Around the back, where you typically find the modular panel in “standard” PSUs, there are the iCUE RS-485, Type-C, and tachometer output ports.
The modular panel has eleven sockets, including a native 12V-2×6 header.

The cables are long enough, and some high-power cables, along with the 24-pin ATX connector, use thicker (AWG 16) gauges to reduce voltage drop at high loads. The number of peripheral connectors is more than enough, but the distance between them is short at just 100mm.
Software
You have to use Corsair’s iCUE software to “talk” to the power supply. Thankfully, this application has been vastly improved through time, although there is still room for improvement. From iCUE, you can monitor power settings, toggle between single and multiple 12V rails on the fly, and also create custom fan speed profiles.
To “connect” the PSU to your system, use the included USB-C cable and launch the latest iCUE app.
