Logitech G515 Lightspeed TKL Wireless Keyboard Review

Epilogue

The Logitech G515 TKL Lightspeed is a tenkeyless keyboard with a modest price tag for both versions. The compact form makes it portable and suitable for users needing to save desk space. The clicky noise, typically found in mechanical keyboards, is present. Still, it is not as annoyingly loud as in other keyboards since the G515 Lightspeed is constructed from solid, sound-dampened plastic. Moreover, it has double-shot PBT keycaps, contributing to its durability and enhanced typing experience.

There are three modes of connectivity: 2.4-GHz Lightspeed wireless, Bluetooth, and wired via USB-C. This versatility ensures it can be easily adapted for different usage scenarios, whether for gaming or productivity tasks. The wireless performance, particularly with the Lightspeed dongle, is excellent, ensuring minimal latency. The keyboard boasts a long battery life, ensuring that users can go for extended periods without recharging. Through Logitech’s G Hub software, users can program up to 15 functions per key, customize lighting effects, and adjust which keys are turned off in Game Mode. This customization level caters to gamers and power users who need specific vital functions.

All in all, I liked this product. The design is slick, the typing experience is good, and the wireless connectivity is a big bonus if you want to move the keyboard away from the system. The only problem is the price, which is stiff at 140 dollars. If you don’t want to pay a premium for wireless connectivity, you can go for the wired version, which is $40 less.

  1. Thanks for the review.
Maybe i have missed it but can you configure on the Logitech app a profile / color scheme ; save it ; uninstall/shutdown the app and have all the advantages from the previous setting.
This piss me off on Steelserie and Razer to not have on board memory for RGB…
