https://youtu.be/-Gf6Dz6Jp6g?si=3ed5UPMgG6j4L2tC Aris, have you seen this? The Gamemax GX-1050 Pro was fired on test, certified by Cybenetics a few months ago, any chance for a review?
Nope. Cybenetics certified it for efficiency and noise; it didn’t run torture testing. Also, many PSUs are burnt every day by users who are certified. This doesn’t say much to us. But since we take seriously EVERYTHING I will examine it and we will buy new samples to test, to see if they changed anything! Thank you!
thx for attention their statement was ” We tested two units and both stopped functioning before we completed the tests. Both units failed during efficiency testing under mild conditions, as such the following results presented here are limited by what we could obtain. Despite GameMax listing standard protective features, testing suggests these safeguards may not fully protect the user. Notably, after being disassembled for fault identification and reconnected to mains power, one unit emitted sparks, signaling a potential fire hazard “. it’s basically same with Cybenetics labs doing, testing an PSU efficiency but not torture testing
