GAMEMAX Unveils N90 Chassis: Blending Wood Aesthetics with a Customizable LED Display

PC case manufacturer GAMEMAX has launched the N90, a new mid-tower chassis that aims to merge high-performance cooling with unique aesthetic customization. The case builds upon the design of its predecessor, the N80, but introduces two standout features: a front-panel LED dot matrix display and an interchangeable wood-textured top panel.

The N90 is designed for PC builders and creators looking for a case that offers both visual flair and modern functionality, including support for the latest hidden-connector motherboards.

Key Features and Design Philosophy

Several innovative elements define the N90:

  • 512-LED Dot Matrix Display: The most prominent feature is the customizable front panel display. This dot matrix grid can showcase real-time system statistics (like CPU temperature or fan speeds) or display custom graphics and animations, offering a new level of personalization.
  • Interchangeable Top Panel: The case ships with two magnetic, quick-release top panels. Users can choose between a high-airflow ventilated metal panel for maximum cooling or a wood-textured metal panel for a more elegant, sophisticated look.
  • 270° Panoramic View: A single, seamless piece of curved tempered glass wraps around the front and side of the case, providing an expansive view of the internal components.
  • BTF Motherboard Support: The case is designed to accommodate BTF (Backside Through-Frame) motherboards from brands like ASUS, which route power and data connectors behind the PCB. This allows for an immaculate, wire-free main chamber look.
  • Pre-Installed Cooling: The N90 comes equipped with six Tornado Series ARGB PWM fans, pre-installed to provide strong airflow right out of the box, eliminating the need for separate fan purchases.

Performance and Build Considerations

Beyond its aesthetics, the N90 is built for performance. Its dual-chamber design isolates the power supply and storage drives in a separate compartment, improving airflow to the main components (CPU and GPU) and simplifying cable management. The case supports large hardware, including GPUs up to 415mm in length and CPU coolers up to 175mm tall.

Pricing and Availability

The GAMEMAX N90 will be available in black and white color variants. The black model has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $189.99, while the white edition will retail for $194.99.

Bottom Line

The GAMEMAX N90 represents a growing trend in PC hardware where cases are becoming as much about personal expression as they are about function. By combining a unique LED display, unconventional materials such as wood veneer, and support for next-generation components, GAMEMAX is targeting enthusiasts who want their PC to be a centerpiece rather than just a tool.
