CORSAIR has announced updates to its highly-regarded RMx series of low-noise power supplies, which now come with ATX 3.1 compliance and a native ATX 12V-2×6 connector. The new series also includes a manual fan speed control knob and other enhancements, making it even more efficient and user-friendly.
These RMx series power supplies are Gold-certified for energy efficiency, delivering up to 91% efficiency. Thanks to the 140 mm fluid-dynamic bearing fan with a magnetic dome structure, they earned an A+ noise rating from Cybenetics (the 750W model). The fan operates quietly while offering the option for manual override. Fully modular with ultra-flexible cables, the RMx power supplies simplify cable management, even in the most demanding builds.
Jon Gerow, Director of Power Supply Research and Development at CORSAIR, stated, “We’re excited to launch the new RMx Series with an entirely redesigned electrical architecture, including a six-layer PCB for improved thermal and electrical performance. Achieving Cybenetics Gold efficiency and Cybenetics A & A+ audible noise ratings reaffirms its quality.”
Each power supply features 100% Japanese electrolytic capacitors, ensuring long-term reliability even at temperatures up to 50°C. Available in 750W, 850W, and 1000W models, the RMx series supports current and future high-end GPUs with its native 12V-2×6 connector. The fan operates silently at lower loads, but users can override this via a rear control knob if needed.
The RMx Series power supplies measure 150mm x 86mm x 160mm and come with various cables and connectors.
