Hi
I have done a recent New Build with above Power Supply with a 9800X3d and a RT5090 FE.
I went 3.0 12VhHPWR as it seemed the 3.1 shorter Pins was a Socket Side only 12V 2x6 on GPU.
At the time after watching a lot of You Tube videos including Hardware Busters and got the impression the supplied 12vHPWR cable assembly was the same as a 12v 2x6 ?
Recently i have seen a lot of mentions of H+ (assume that's 12vHPWR) and 12v 2X6 at H++ . . . . .
Please could i get some Clarity if in Fact "H+ 12v HPWR" versus "H++ 12v 2X6" that there is no difference on the
'Cable-Assembly' side ?
A covering this might be helpful too
Thank You
The cable is exactly the same. Some OEMs wanted to offer something new, so they put on some cables the H++ mark. This is what I know so far. There is NO mention in the ATX spec for a change in the cable, only on the header.
Nice to see at GN . . .
Here are a couple of ASUS T/C i have purchased to use on the 12vHPWR cable assembly to my 5090 FE, not sure which one to use tbh . . .
My temp with thermal imager is about 46.9 degrees C ambient was 25 degrees C after a long gaming session last night, will send an image.
