Im planing on buying a corsair hx1500i for my system, (ryzen 7 9800x3d and 5070ti (asus prime, the non OC). I know it is overkill but im planning ahead, thinking of new upgrades in the future. In this moment I own an ATX 2.2 rog thor 850p and are using a 3x8pin to 12v2x6 addapter (the one the GPU comes with) The NEW hx1500i comes with a set of 2 2x8pcie to 12v2x6 cable (which makes it ATX 3.1 compliant) I have some questions in this regard...

  1. Is it better to have a native 12v2x6 to 12v2x6 than this "solution" corsair offers? What about suplerflowers 9pin universal?
  1. How many power does my 5070ti draw? Do I have the risk of it melting the cable? I know I need to be sure to not bend the cables or else. (I have read that it can consume 350-400 w in the worse case scenario)
  1. Will the hx1500i 2x8pin (psu side) be enought for powering my 5070Ti? There is some stuff I dont really understand.

• Apparently the cable supports UP TO 600w and it is stated that every 8pin administer up to 300w... but I dont really understand how as I have always thought every 8pin delivers 150W (depending of the gauge of the cables) *will I be safer with this new cable (native and 2x8pin) or should I continue with my old ATX 2.2 with the native 3x8pin to addapter? *In the case I get the hx1500i should I continue using the GPU addapter or just use de 2x8pin to 12v2x6

4. On cmaris analysis of this PSU (the 2022 version) he mentioned "High OCP on the minor rails" in which cases would this be a risk for me? In my country we use 110V 60Hz

Thank you in advance
