Hey dudes, i was picking a PSU and noticed some issue with the C1000 from NZXT, it has this drop in efficiency at around 50W, however the other PSUs from the same line C850/C1200 dont exhibit this drop, is it just this unit or all of them are like that and i should go for the 850 watt one? What's also confusing is it looks fine at the light load test section of 20W/40W/60W/80W loads, i might be reading the graph wrong, but other good PSUs from the database look good on the graph as well as light load tests. Help me figure this out please 🙂
Cant add pictures, here are the links (look at the efficiency graphs):

C1000 - <a href=" removed link "> removed link
C1200 - <a href=" removed link "> removed link
Love what you guys do with the testing, thanks a lot!
Hi! Links were removed unfortunately so I couldn't check them. I suggest you look at the CL efficiency map in any case, which shows everything.
@crmaris The links were to the Cybenetics evaluation of each PSU, if you look at the efficiency graph portion, you can see a pink blob on C1000, which doesn't exist on the other 2 PSUs, pink color is rated as being 60-70% and the blob is at around 50W, can you check it out please? Thanks for the response, i thought the links would appear after moderation.
Edit: I think we're talking about the same thing, it's the efficiency map with colors and such.
I see. Something was off there then, from the PSU, hence the efficiency drop. That's why Cyben takes over 1450 different load levels into account, to find everything and also have accurate results.
@crmaris Do you think it's just this unit or is it how all of them are? Is there a large unit variation in PSUs?
I cannot know that without checking 10-20 PSUs which is not possible. Please use our discord server for more information. I don't monitor the forums often.
