I would like a psu with the 12v2x6 connector instead of the 12+4 one.
But I can't seem to find one that also produces below <30 decibels noise.
Does any of you have any idea which PSU would be good for me?
Preferably 850 watts, but more is also ok.
Most PSUs sold now, not old stock, have the new 12V-2x6 connector. If you ask me, it is not a big deal though whatever header the PSU has, since there weren't any major issues there. Moreover, you can also buy a PSU that uses 2x 8pin sockets to feed the 12V-2x6 cable. It is the same and Intel allows it. Corsair and Super Flower use 2x 8pin sockets for instance, instead of a native 12+4 pin socket, on the PSU side.

Oh really thats nice to know! Because I was looking at the Corsair RM850x Shift or the Montech Titan 850 (both performing about the same). And I didn't see the connector on it. But newer stock has it?
And I 'm also looking at the FSP Hydro Ti PRO 850w, hoping that it perfoms the same as the 1000w version that absoluty crushed every other PSU in the 1000w category. On the website it doesnt show either 2x8 nor 2x6, but that is updated as well then on new stock? Just old pictures.
Corsair Shift has 2x 8pin. Montech unit, newer batches could have 2x6 and the same goes for the Hydro Ti 850, IF you manage to find it anywhere.
