Hello. I have a Corsair HX1000i (2023 model – SKU: CP-9020259-EU). It doesn’t have 12VHPWR header nor the 12V-2×6. I think it has the 2x 8-pin (ATX v3.1). I plan to buy a RTX 4070ti Super. Will it be a problem and can i use the PSU 12VHPWR cable provided with the PSU ?
Thanks.
It will be totally fine; actually safer than having a native 12VHPWR connector on the PSU.
Hi @crmaris,
I've got the same question with the incoming RTX 5070ti. I don't understand what connector RTX 50 series will be provided with.
Thanks.
12V-2x6
So, i was wondering : if i plan to buy an RTX 5070ti and a CORSAIR Type 5 PSU 90° 12V-2x6 cable, what kind do i need for my PSU ? There are 6 models and i'm a little bit confused...
Thanks for your help.
@matt Check if these cables are compatible with your PSU. Is your current PSU compatible with Type 5 cables?
On Corsair's site it is said type 4. This site is a mess. All pages referring to PSU cables are unavailable... I attached a file showing the cables provided with the PSU.
