I noticed that the values for static pressure of the "XPG Nidec Vento Pro 120 PWM" in the normalized noise comparison graphs for the Noctua NF A12x25 G2 (review 10-Jul-2025) are substantially lower than in the original review (24-Aug-2023) for the XPG and in the normalized noise comparison graphs for the Phanteks T30-120 (review 1-Nov-2023).
E.g.: Original review @ 25 dBA: 1.92 mmAq, Noctua comparison graph @ 25 dBA: 1.68 mmAq.
I was particularly interested in how the XPG compared to the Noctua, since the XPG compared pretty well to the Phanteks, but now I am confused.
If the values for static pressure in the Noctua comparison graphs are correct, the performance of the XPG drops considerably compared to the original review.
Any idea what happened here? Did I miss a change in testing that can explain this?
I will look into this. We might tested a second sample and took data from it, because in our database we typically include more than one samples per fan, data.
