Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU Review: Performance, Thermals & Power Analysis

Productivity and Microsoft Office

I use the PCMark10 benchmark suite to evaluate all CPUs under several productivity tasks. I also use the Applications Benchmark, which uses all Microsoft Office apps.

Leading performance in PcMark10.

Web Browser Performance

Speedometer is a browser benchmark that measures the responsiveness of Web applications. It uses demo web applications to simulate user actions, such as adding to-do items.

Top performance in the web browsing test.

Data Compression

I use two popular compression apps, WinRar and 7-zip. Both have embedded benchmarks, and I also compress a large file folder with WinRar.

In 7zip, it stays behind even from the previous generation 13900K, but it compresses the file faster than all in Winrar. Nonetheless, in Winrar’s bench it doesn’t do so well.
