Productivity and Microsoft Office
I use the PCMark10 benchmark suite to evaluate all CPUs under several productivity tasks. I also use the Applications Benchmark, which uses all Microsoft Office apps.
The performance in the PCMark10 benchmarks is significantly improved compared to the 7800X3D.
Web Browser Performance
Speedometer is a browser benchmark that measures the responsiveness of Web applications. It uses demo web applications to simulate user actions, such as adding to-do items.
Very good performance in the web browsing test, leaving far behind the 7800X3D.
Data Compression
I use two popular compression apps, WinRar and 7-zip. Both have embedded benchmarks, and I also compress a large file folder with WinRar.
The 9800X3D performs better in 7zip, but strangely enough, it stays behind the 7800X3D in the Winrar benchmarks.
