Epilogue
The Ocypus Sigma L36 Pro has an impressive display on top of its block, which, however, boosts the price to $170. Combined with the not highly competitive performance, the performance-to-price ratio drops low, especially when compared to solutions by Arctic with highly affordable price tags.
The price might be high, but the bundle is rich, the build quality is high, and the cooling fans use fluid dynamic bearings, which allows the brand to offer an extended warranty to this product, reaching five years. For more information on the performance of the fans that equip this AIO, please follow the link below.
The DF1202512CM (0.26A) fans of the Ocypus Sigma L36 Pro achieve Platinum airflow and Titanium static pressure in the Cybenetics PHI fan performance standard, proving that they are highly suitable for use in cooling solutions. Although Ocypus provides a 3-to-1 fan splitter, and each of the fans has a maximum current rating of 0.26A, I do not recommend chaining all of them together to a single fan header. By doing so, I managed to “burn” the corresponding headers of the Corsair Commander Pro that I use for controlling fan speed. It is highly preferred to “chain” only two of the fans and connect the third independently, or ideally, control all three independently.
The AIO’s display is an impressive feature, and it will attract attention if the view of it is unobstructed. The only issue is that it substantially increases the product’s price tag, but you cannot have such a nice display on a tight budget. Moreover, the provided software for controlling the display is relatively easy to use, offering a sufficient number of options.
The cooler comes pre-assembled with the fans on the radiator, eliminating a significant installation step for users. On the AMD platform on which I tried this cooler, performance is decent, but definitely not among the best. Moreover, the lack of ARGB fans can be an issue for some users (not for me). Regarding fan noise, from the moment you can adjust the fans through PWM signals, it is entirely up to the user to select the ideal speed profile that offers the desired performance levels without exceeding the sound barrier.
If you are after performance-per-price ratios, then an AIO with a display on its block clearly isn’t for you, since it is expensive. Look elsewhere for other cooling solutions without any costly gimmicks.

If you’re searching for fans for your AIO or chassis, read my ‘Best Cooling Fans’ article before investing in new cooling solutions. You help me a lot by using my affiliate links, which don’t increase the price of the product.
