The cooler’s weight barely exceeds 1 kilogram, which is not that heavy for a dual-tower design cooler. For comparison purposes, the Noctua NH-D15 G2 weighs over 1.5 kilos! The cooler’s height is also kept below 160mm to retain compatibility with most chassis.
Enermax uses six heat pipes to effectively transfer the heat from the cooler’s base and a pair of 120mm fans dissipate it.
The heat sink’s block has a convex base. I have to remind (again) our photographer to remove the sticker and shoot some photos without it.
There is a small display on top of the cooler, showing CPU/GPU/RPM information. You must first install the appropriate software to set up the display accordingly.
The fans use fluid dynamic bearings. Typically, this type of bearing combines a long lifetime and low noise output. That said, I noticed several reviews on Amazon.com stating that the fans in this product failed prematurely, refusing to spin. In my short-term tests, I encountered no issues, so I am considering installing this cooler on one of our test systems to assess its long-term performance.
