The cooler features a dual-tower design, but thanks to the offset heatpipes layout and the adjustable height of the front fan, any DDR RAM issues can be easily resolved.
Two fans equip the cooler in a pull-push configuration. The Pure Wings 3 120mm fans can spin at high speeds if required, delivering decent airflow and static pressure. Especially the latter is essential for cooling solutions. The fans use a rifle bearing with a claimed lifetime of 80,000 h at 25°C. You can connect both fans with the Y cable that one of them has.
The six heatpipes pass through the cooler’s base, which comes with pre-applied thermal paste.
The cooler is mounted on the socket through a pair of spring screws. This is the preferred way in the majority of coolers today.
The cooler has a convex base for better contact with the CPU’s heatspreader. This will work well with Intel CPUs, which have slightly concave IHS, but not with AMD AM5 CPUs, which also have a slightly convex IHS and a very strong heat spreader that does not flex.
The cooling fans use a rifle bearing, and their model is Pure Wings 3. If you want to learn more about this fan’s type performance, check the following link:
