The NZXT F140RGB CORE 140mm fan costs 22 dollars, it features RGB lighting and promises for high static pressure and airflow. In this review I will find out if NZXT’s promises are true.
I have already checked the F120RGB Core, so next on my list was its larger sibling, the F140RGB, with a 140mm diameter. While the 120mm version costs 20 dollars, the bigger fan isn’t any more expensive at $22. It all comes down to the dimensions of your chassis or the cooling solution that will host the fans, to decide the fans’ size. Since there is no daisy-chain option and you have the extra ARGB cable, you better get NZXT’s RGB & Fan controller, costing 35 dollars; if you install two or more fans, you will have to deal with many cables, which can be a problem. I hate when too many cables are involved, preferring solutions where all signals pass through a single line, which connects all fans to the system, something like the Corsair iCUE Link, which is far from affordable.
The NZXT F140RGB Core achieves a Bronze airflow and a Platinum static pressure rating on the Cybenetics Phi scale.
