As you may know already, I have written two Quick Tips articles on how to bypass the Microsoft Account requirement on Windows 10/11. But Microsoft always invents new ways to push its users to sign up for one of its most incompetent features unless you need it for a reason. For the rest of us, it is annoying. If you tried my previous “hack” and it didn’t work out, it’s because Microsoft deprecated it in newer versions of Windows. But don’t worry, we are here to save the day. Let’s see how we can bypass the MS account in a harder way.
How To
As with my previous related articles, the way is almost the same.
Disconnect your device from your network. It is best to be offline.
Proceed with the clean installation, as usual.
When you come across the MS account requirement, press Shift and F10 on your keyboard combined. You might need to press the Fn key as well.

On the Command Prompt window that will pop up, enter the following command:
start ms-cxh:localonly
and hit Enter.

That’s it! You are now free to proceed with a local account as you wish. Dear Microsoft, you should have known better!
I just built a new system and used the Rufus utility to create a flash usb based installer that bypasses the account sign in. I needed to create a bootable drive, in any case. Pretty easy.
We already have an article for this.
