Load regulation is within 1% on all major rails, so it is good. The 5VSB rail has loose load regulation, but there is no need for tight load regulation at 5VSB, only to be within the ATX spec’s limits.

Ripple suppression is good on all rails. The last place in the 5V rail doesn’t mean much from the moment ripple on this rail is below 20mV.

  1. Please allow me to remind everyone that there are numerous cases of coil whine with this power supply. I purchased this power supply in March because it was very affordable and came with plenty of accessories. However, upon using it, I noticed that there was a sharp, high-pitched sound when the load was low. Even with earphones plugged in, the noise couldn’t be avoided. I requested a replacement, but the new power supply still had the same coil whine issue. Consequently, I had to ask for a refund. After some time, I still wanted to give this power supply a chance, thinking that my previous purchase experience was just an unfortunate incident. So, I bought the power supply again. Unfortunately, the second purchase also resulted in an astonishing buzzing sound. However, I didn’t want to give up and requested another replacement. In the end, the replacement power supply I received still produced coil whine. I completely gave up on pursuing this power supply and proceeded with a refund.

Based on my experience in product sales, if a person repeatedly purchases units of a particular product with the same defect, it indicates that this defect is likely to be widespread in that product. In fact, I have searched several online shopping websites that sell this power supply, and there are a considerable number of comments stating that this power supply exhibits coil whine. Some people choose to request a refund, while others choose to tolerate it. If you are interested in this power supply, please consider whether you can tolerate the coil whine for the sake of the price.

      1. That is reasonable. When companies send their platforms for testing, they often choose individuals with better quality to make the testing party believe that this is their standard quality.

    1. I bought this power supply as well. I’m going to return it because the coil whine is ridiculously annoying. Sorry Vetroo, close but no cigar.

  2. I have purchased two of these units so far and did not have any coil whine on either. I have been extremely pleased with these and they have far exceeded my expectations. They are extremely tiny for being a 1000watt power supply so they will fit in many smaller form factor cases which others wouldn’t. There is enough people saying they have coil whine that its a big enough issue that I hope they address, however not all units are effected and I don’t believe they just cherry picked for reviews since I haven’t had this issue myself as a normal consumer. If it weren’t for the other reviews from people talking about this issue this would easily be my go to recommendation for power supplies.

    1. I had to remove it from my best ATX v3.0 PSU picks articles, because I got enough complains from users mentioning coil whine. My samples were ok, but I don’t know if I got special samples. Only if I could check ten random samples, I would re-list it again.

      1. Hi Thank you so much for dedicating the time to answer to me, I mean it!

Excluding the Coil Whine, would you recommend it? I am not bothered by noise as I use headphones most of the time, I’m just worrying for reliability and not getting my PC burnt, the Japanese Capacitors, your review and the price makes it a real bang for the buck being this model decent and having Cybenetics.

I’m deciding between this and the GF A3 1050w which I saw at your PSU list and right now is at $128, I’m wondering if it’s worth to pay the $25 extra and go for the GF A3 1050w.

          1. I’m going to get the Montech Titan Gold 1000w thanks to your review, I decided to pay more, but have my mind in peace, and it also appears to be in the tier A of the cultist network Tier list, not speculative but very well positioned Tier A, and it’s at a reasonable price for $150 at Amazon.

Thank you so much for your effort, exceptional and transparent work! o7

    1. At the current price, I say it’s worth a shot. Just bought one myself but haven’t had a chance to try it out. Amazon returns are easy enough if there is any issue.
