Most users prefer PSUs with modular cables, but still, there are some offerings with fixed cables, with more affordable prices. In today’s review I will look at the SilverStone Triton 750Rx, a fixed-cable ATX v3.1 compliant PSU, featuring a Cybenetics Gold efficiency certification.
I have already evaluated the Triton 850Rx, and in today’s review, I will examine the 750W variant, which also promises ATX v3.1 compatibility. It comes with fixed cables to keep production costs low. But let’s take it from the start, for those of you who missed the Triton 850Rx review. The Silverstone Triton line is available in three models, with capacities ranging from 650W to 850W. To keep the cost down, all feature a non-modular cable design, which looks weird nowadays, with flat embossed cables. The OEM behind these products is Andyson, a reputable company that faced significant challenges recently, including EVGA’s collapse. The Triton RX units are advertised with ICB bearing fans, but in the last review, I found that the actual bearing is a Rifle one, which is still good enough. Nonetheless, you should use what you advertise in your products, or someone can accuse you of misleading information.
