The PQ1000M-V2 uses the Seasonic V4 platform, achieving high efficiency but in terms of output noise, it is not among the quietest 1000W PSUs. Read the full review to learn more about this PSU.
The Gamer Storm PQ1000M-V2 is (or will be) included in my best ATX v3.x & PCIe 5.x PSU picks article.
Part of DeepCool products are now under the Gamer Storm brand, which (so far) is not so active in the global market. In today’s review, I will examine the PQ1000M-V2, which, like the other two members of its family, utilizes the Seasonic Focus V4 platform. This is an efficient platform, and the specific PSU achieves Platinum efficiency in the Cybenetics respective scheme (ETA). In noise output, the PQ1000M-V2 scores Cybenetics Standard++, so it is not among the quietest PSUs in the 1000W category.
At the time of the review, there was no mention of the product’s price and release date. Still, I think this is an interesting review, as it involved the popular Seasonic Focus V4 platform. While Seasonic places a great deal of emphasis on the retail market, it also continues to provide platforms for other brands.
