Box & Bundle
Strangely enough, the box doesn’t have a photo of the PSU on its front side. Only the model description and a mention of the ten-year warranty.

The PSU is compact enough, with a 150mm depth, and uses an interesting punched fan grill with triangular perforations large enough not to block the airflow. Around the back, the modular panel has ten sockets, including two 12V-2×6. I am unsure why Great Wall installed two 12V-2×6 sockets on a 1000W PSU. They are overkill, so only a single 12V-2×6 cable is provided.

Description | Cable Count | Connector Count (Total) | Gauge | In Cable Capacitors |
---|---|---|---|---|
ATX connector 20+4 pin (610mm) | 1 | 1 | 16-18AWG | No |
4+4 pin EPS12V (750mm) | 2 | 2 | 16AWG | No |
6+2 pin PCIe (750mm) | 3 | 3 | 16-18AWG | No |
12+4 pin PCIe (700mm) (600W) | 1 | 1 | 16-24AWG | No |
SATA (500mm+150mm+150mm+150mm) | 2 | 8 | 18AWG | No |
4-pin Molex (450mm+120mm+120mm) | 1 | 3 | 18AWG | No |
There are enough long cables to handle the PSU’s maximum power without issues. All cables are also long enough, and the distance between the SATA connectors is adequate at 150mm, but I cannot state the same for the 4-pin Molex, where the distance between the respective connectors is only 120mm. Lastly, all cables are embossed, and their gauges have the appropriate thickness required by the ATX spec.
Manufacturer “Great Wall”, in the country with the “Great Wall”.
Fucking comedy 😀
Nobody ever gave the Chinese credit for being “creative”.
