HYTE, a manufacturer of advanced PC components and peripherals, has introduced the X50 and X50 Air, two new mid-tower PC cases designed to offer a high-performance building experience emphasizing airflow, structure, and build versatility. These cases are scheduled for release in Summer 2025 and aim to serve a broad range of PC builders through thoughtful design and accessible pricing.
The X50 series introduces a new visual and functional design language to HYTE’s portfolio, building on the company’s experience with its Y-series enclosures. Both models feature a refined, rounded silhouette, a modern materials mix, and structural enhancements to optimize thermals and ease of assembly.
“Our new X50 and X50 Air chassis represent HYTE’s goals of reimagining the modern PC with innovative design, function, and experiences at competitive prices,” said Rob Teller, Product Director at HYTE.
Performance-Oriented Engineering
Both the X50 and X50 Air incorporate several airflow innovations, including:
-
Full-Coverage Micro-Mesh front and side panels (X50 Air)
-
Laminated Acoustic Glass side panel for the standard X50
-
Cold-Floor Cooling for GPU thermal support
-
Up to 10 total fan placements
-
360mm radiator support on the front and side
The cases also include HYTE’s patent-pending Louvered Blade Ventilation, which improves exhaust efficiency while reinforcing chassis rigidity. A top-mounted PSU canopy simplifies cable management while contributing to active heat removal.
Design Meets Durability
Constructed using automotive-grade tooling with tighter tolerances and one mm-thick steel, the X50 series aims to deliver a more refined aesthetic and improved structural strength. While the X50 Air is optimized for maximum airflow with mesh paneling and comes in Snow White and Pitch Black, the X50 offers a visual showcase with a curved acoustic glass panel. It has various finishes, including Cherry, Taro Milk, Strawberry Milk, and Matcha Milk.
Focused on Builder Experience
Both cases support a tool-less assembly with removable panels, modular radiator brackets, and discreet cable-routing channels for a clean internal layout. The rounded exterior is also designed with user comfort in mind, avoiding sharp edges to streamline installation and upgrades.
Availability and Pricing
The X50 will launch at an MSRP of $149.99 (plus VAT/tariff), while the X50 Air will be available at $119.99 (plus VAT/tariff). Both models will be displayed during COMPUTEX 2025 in the HYTE Suite, with availability notifications and more product information available at hyte.co/computex25-pr.
