Cougar Terminator Ergonomic & Gaming Chair – Rage Against The Machine

Ergonomic Features

The Terminator carries the typical adjustments. Height arrangements can occur by a plastic lever on the right and under the seat’s base. The backrest recline locks at various positions by a lever on the right side of the seat’s base and goes way back at around 135 degrees angle. The chair has a rocking function for better blood flow that can be disabled anytime.

Additionally, the headrest tilts horizontally to cater to different height ranges. The armrests are 4D, adjusted in height, width, depth, and swivel.

The chair’s large 29.6″ diameter aluminum wheelbase and 3″ casters empower the Terminator’s sturdy image and feel. Moreover, for an even greater relaxing sitting session, Cougar has added two cushions, one for the neck support with memory foam and one for the lumbar support region.

The chair’s aluminum five-star base also has an exclusive appearance resembling a mechanical spider.

Armrests

The armrests contain dense foam and are covered by smooth PU. Their design is also a pioneer and offers a matching look to the entire chair’s display. Because of their large dimensions, they support the arms and elbows. They are fully adjustable, allowing for both height and swivel adjustments. My desk has a 72cm height, and most chairs cannot drop their armrests to go below it. The Terminator’s armrests had no problem dropping them below desk level, allowing me to slide my chair under my desk when it’s not in use or to get closer to the monitor and keyboard. Something I’ve yet to be able to do with most of my previous chairs.

Hydraulics, Five-Star Base, and Caster Wheels

The broad base comprises thick aluminum metal legs, and some parts consist of the same fiber-reinforced plastic that appears on various parts of the chair. The wide wheels are quiet and roll on demand. Responsible for the chair’s height adjustments is a class 4 gas lift.

Neck and Lumbar-Support Pillows

Cougar offers two complimentary cushions for the extra neck and lumbar support convenience. The smaller one is for the neck support and probably contains memory foam, while the larger one is for the lumbar support and has plain foam.
