Cougar Terminator Ergonomic & Gaming Chair – Rage Against The Machine

Dimensions & Design

The Terminator has an impressive front side, yet its rear side draws all the attention; pun intended! Its rear backrest has adopted the form and function of a person’s spine. The brand states that this design will align with the natural curvature of one’s back, achieving, as such, an optimal posture, for the use of more extended periods.

This chair is a piece of furniture with an original design form; It appears to be gaming oriented and ergonomic simultaneously. Even its five-star base carries an avant-garde approach that matches the entire chair’s presentation. From the wheels up, the Terminator displays its designers’ purpose: its ability to offer the maximum amount of back support and overall comfort.

Most of Cougar’s chairs carry black and orange colors on the brand’s logo. The Terminator is no exception. The entire surface is covered with black and orange smooth faux leather with the same colors of embroidery stitching.

The chair is a two-piece structure. However, it consists of at least differential pieces since plenty of cutouts exist. Around the chair parts is a strip that imitates carbon fiber and boosts the chair’s fancy looks. I can claim that the chair has a summer and a winter look! According to a user’s needs, the front center piece has a removable pad that, if extracted, reveals a honeycomb grill that offers additional ventilation to the back.

The materials used for the Terminator’s construction are metal and fiber-reinforced plastic (PAFRP), reinforced with materials like fiberglass or carbon. PAFRP is primarily used in the aerospace and automotive industries. It’s a dense, durable material feels solid, sturdy, and light. For its upholstery, adaptive-density foam is used, covered by premium Hyper-Dura leatherette. Cougar claims that this synthetic material is 12 times more resistant to wear and tear when compared to traditional coverings.
