Hello Aris i've just find some interesting part about <a href=" removed link " target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cougar GEX Pro ATX 3.1 review that claimed had a Japan capacitor inside, but in a review i just found they just use an Ltec main capacitor, which is just an Chinese capacitor on paper. I just found that psu just certified by Cybenetics lately and i just want to know did you find same parts as i found, or they just send to you as Prototype PSU with a Japanese capacitor that they claimed just for certification on Cybenetics, and i just want to know if they changed their some parts inside on a retail product and the spec doesn't match as their SKU spec on a Cybenetics certificate, can you just canceled their SKU certification, because i think Cougar just tried to scamming their customer just for being bought their falsefied product ?
Hi! Cybenetics certifies the PSUs at their current configuration, and this is why we take the extra step of performing a part analysis, which is a significant effort. This is one of the main differences with other certification schemes. So Cyben certified this specific PSU with the current cap. If Cougar made significant changes, it should send another sample to Cyben but in any case Cyben's certification covers the sample sent to it initially and NOT platforms with major differences. Now, truth be told, although a cap change affects reliability for sure, it doesn't affect efficiency or even performance. The latter at least on the short run.
On my part I will try to talk to Cougar about this.
Maybe you can update an GEX PRO 850 ATX 3.1 parts component on cybenetics and comparing with this review <a href=" removed link ">Обзор блока питания COUGAR GEX PRO 850: тихий и холодный GECID.com. & <a href=" removed link ">【開箱】獅子王登基!ATX3.1 &PCIe 5.1新規上路!COUGAR GEX PRO 850W電源。 - 原價屋Coolpc
Cybenetcs reports include what the sample under test has only. There can be no other way. Also, to speak frank, I only trust what my eyes see 🙂 In many cases I even double-check our engineers.
