Corsair AF120 RGB Elite Fan Review

Box, Contents & Bundle

I got the three-fan package from Corsair, which is ideal for users wanting to cool down an AIO featuring a 360mm radiator.

Besides the fans, inside the box, you will also find the Lighting Node CORE, where you can connect up to six Corsair fans to control their RGB lighting. You must connect it to a USB 2.0 mainboard header and a SATA connector. The rest of the bundle includes fixing bolts and paperwork.

It is a shame you cannot somehow daisy chain these expensive fans. The amount of cables is daunting with all three fans installed, and you will need good cable management skills and patience to have the best optical result. The cables are long, reaching 600mm so you won’t have any issues connecting the fans even in large chassis. The first cable is for power, and the second is for the RGB signal.

The white blades, against the black casing, are a nice match, and the 25mm thickness means that you won’t have any compatibility issues since these fans will fit everywhere.
